If you have one too many beer bottles stashed in one corner of your garage and you don’t know what else to do with them, you might want to consider the following recycling and repurposing tips that will reduce the clutter in your home:
- Use beer bottles as a flower vase
Beer bottles make wonderful vintage-inspired flower vases. The smaller and taller bottles can be placed in a makeshift table crate. Fill the bottles up with one or two pieces of vase for a unique center piece look.
- Use beer bottles as a candle holder
Do you love making candles? Beer bottles with interesting labels on them would look great as candle holders. Just follow the process of cutting bottles in half. Use the bottom half to fill with candle wax. You can even make more of these candles to give as party favors on your next event.
- Use beer bottles as outdoor or indoor mood lighting
You can fill them up with battery-operated fairy lights and display them on your bedside table. You can also cut the bottles, drill a hole at the bottom and install LED light for a unique outdoor mood lighting fixture.
- RECYCLE!
This is by far our favorite option. Because you pay a small deposit on each bottle, give them a quick rinse and take them back to your local recycling center. Better yet, ask around if there any local organizations that are trying to raise money through bottle drives. You can give them a call and they will come pick up them up. A win-win situation for all.
These are easy projects you can do at home. So the next time you visit a Special liquor store in Port Moody such as Port Moody Liquor and don’t know what to do with the bottles you bring home, consider the above-mentioned projects.
